We recognize that for some students, studying on their own is not sufficient. We support you by offering a live internet based ground school
to fill in this gap. Classes can be joined at any time, you can study from anywhere in the world. Since the material is taught in chapter sequences there is no class start date to wait for. You will need a computer (Windows/Linux/Mac) and a reasonably fast internet connection to participate.

Homework:
Yes, even though you are participating in the classes, there will be
some light homework in your coursebook and in our virtual classroom.

Terms and conditions:
The ground school class has to be paid in full before the first session
you participate in. There are no refunds after the second session.
(Read: you MUST cancel before the second session!). No refunds
for dropping out before all sessions are taken and no refunds for the included course book (currently $15.95). The charge for the actual
computer test is NOT included (currently apx. $75)

IFR: Instrument Rating
Add on rating
The IFR rating is an add on rating to an existing pilot certificate. It removes the 'bad weather' and low visibility restrictions from your pilot certificate.
COM: Commercial Pilot Certificate
Ready to go to work?
A commercial pilot certificate is required to be able to fly for compensation. Flight Instructors, Banner-Tow, Agricultural Spraying and traffic watch are examples of commercial flying activity.
MEL: Multiengine Rating
Twin engine add on
To be able to fly aircraft with more than one engine, you need to add a multiengine rating to your existing pilot certificate.
